Ravenwood’s award-winning indoor percussion team is currently competing at the level of percussion scholastic open class, which is the second highest class that high schools can compete in nationwide. This is quite a feat considering that we have less than 25 students on our drumline.In 2023, our group of 23 students competed in Dayton, Ohio, for the WGI drumline world finals. Ravenwood won 10th place in PSO class in the entire nation! This small group of drummers and front ensemblists has come so far and garnered national name recognition in a very short amount of time.The students practice many hours per week and devote weekends to perfecting their show and competitions. The team members learn the value of working together and striving to achieve a goal unlike no other. At the end of each season, the students always say, “I can’t wait until next year!”This is where we need your help. The competitions, uniforms, instructions, and show materials are expensive. Please consider a tax-deductible donation to our drumline to offset some of the fees and make the program more affordable to students and families.Below on our “Band Donations” burst you can fill out and add your donation amount.
